Hello Kickstand Card

Ah, Melon! Such a happy color and such a great card color for Spring! Basket Case and Mini blooms stamp sets bring this card to life. A little paper piecing, a little scoring and a touch of shimmer with the stardust finishing spray. And, isn't the font on Hello, Gorgeous just fabulous! Love it!
Here's a close-up. The scoring is 1/4" and inked on top of the "bumps". It's a great way to add texture without adding bulk. And, the little splotches that look like water drops in this photo are actually shimmery splotches from the stardust finishing spray. It looks lovely in real life. :) The bicycle seat and basket are paper pieced and a flower is stamped on melon and plopped on top of the basket too. I might add more or pop it up next time.
Here's the kickstand card from the back. It's an 8" X 4-1/4" card base scored at 4". As you can see the stitched circle detail overlaps the top. You just want to have your envelope beside you so you make sure the card fits in the envelope before you attach it with pop dots.
Here's the side view. Such a fun card fold because it's so easy but has great impact. :)
And, here's the inside. Another layering of melon inks (ink once, stamp twice) and a little grass ink makes the color pop by adding some leaves.
