Here's another version of a wedding/anniversary card. This one has more of a vintage feel with the old fashioned rose embossed over the silver star cardstock. Some shimmer blackberry (being discontinued - aargh!) and silver shimmer cardstock finishes off the look. Shimmery loveliness for someone's special day.

Special Day
Embossing!!! I love embossing!! It's a magical time when the heat gun hits the embossing powder, starts melting it and turns a simple branch into an elegant statement on a card.
And, how great does the shimmer cardstock look on the silver cording hanging off the embossed seasonal branch! I love how this card turned out. I've played with it in gold too. May have to share that another time.
The beauty of this card is that it would work for either a wedding or an anniversary. It's got a simple elegance that only embossing can bring to vanilla cardstock. Can you see yourself giving this card on someone's special day? I sure can. :)

Holiday (or Wedding) Gift Card Holder
Small treat bags can be used for little favors and treats but they're also perfect for gift cards! Check out this Holiday card that contains a card in a gift!
This is the new seattle small treat bag and it blends so well with the silver shimmer cardstock. I punched 4 - 1" circles from sugar shimmer cardstock and cut them in half to make the polka dots. Isn't that fun? And, a little silver shimmer damask makes a great "top" for a tab to hold the gift card. :) You could just put the gift card inside but I thought a slider was a little more elegant. :)

And, check out the small bow in shimmer cardstock on top of the seattle bag. You could make this card in a variety of colors and it would be great to have on hand for birthdays and anniversaries and holidays, don't you think?
If you want to use this card for a wedding card, leave out the sentiment inside or make it a wedding font. I stamped the sentiment in seattle ink and embossed it with satin pearl embossing powder. You could also stamp it in versamark and emboss it in silver embossing powder but I love the flexibility of using the A Muse inks and embossing over the top.
If you're interested in any of these products, you can purchase them online in my secure webstore.

50th Golden Anniversary Cards - Big Celebration
When you mix big celebrations and gold embossing powder, you get FABULOSITY! Really - you do! Trust me - fabulosity!!!
I stamped the numbers in versamark and embossed them in gold. Then I cut them out and layered them on to the eucalyptus lacey circle. This was layered on a clear embossed shimmer cardstock piece and then layered on toffee. The swallow dies were cut out of vellum and glittered up.
Inside, the swallows were cut out of sugar and layered on the eucalyptus die cut.
And, here's a variation with the embossed numbers layered on an embossed script background. A vellum butterfly and embossed petite daisy with a vanilla pearl finishes off the look. What do you think?
