Happy Father's Day or Happy Birthday to your favorite grillmaster! I love to grill on my Weber charcoal grill and I love purple so if I were going to make this card for myself, it would be purple and teal and pink! :) There are always unlimited options!
This used the May collection stamp set, You're Smokin', that still available in the past collections link in my webstore (click on stamps, click on past collections and check out all the goodies!)
Don't forget, you can get the template for the box card here.
Have a wonderfully creative day!

Flower Garden Box Card
Okay. This is embarrassing! I have been making cards and have been gardening and have been spending time with family and have been working and I guess I have not been updating my blog. yikes! There has been some instagramming and Facebook posting and I guess I need to get my blog back on track.
Here's a box card that I made during May for Mother's Day. My mom loved her pop-up bouquet and the class peeps had fun making them too. (after they stopped cursing me! lol)
The template to make this card is at the bottom of the e-mail. I was inspired by several box card templates that I saw online and tweaked them a little.
Die sets used: Flowers die set (p.86 $9.99), Love and Thanks die set (p.16, $23.99) and Butterfly die trio (p.84, $8.95). Oh and the grass border die was also used. That's so great for grass or halloween goo or winter icicles.
The butterflies are cut out of the Everything's Rosy paper pack and are mounted on crystal clear cardstock.
You can use all kinds of scraps to make beautiful gardens. And, you can easily make this a birthday or anniversary or get well card! Essential Sentiments Too is an awesome sentiment set that will give you options for almost all the holidays!
The reverse polka dot apple cardstock is the perfect base for this happy bouquet.

Father's Day Gift Card Treat Bag
Here's a quick and simple gift bag using the Father's Day stamp set. You stamp the image in onyx and then use the quickie glue pen to add glitter to the hat. If your man can't handle glitter, you can leave that blank. :)
The diagonal stripe treat bags come in a variety of colors and they're perfect for gift cards! Slide a giftcard inside and a Ghiradelli chocolate and you're set. Father's Day is all wrapped up! It's perfect for a birthday too!
All supplies are available in my web store: www.amusestudio.com/seleise

Happy Father's Day!
Here's a fun and fast Father's Day card made with the Father's Day stamp set and the fishtail pennant die.
The base is mermaid with a pistachio strip near the left edge. The small pennant die was used to cut the onyx petite polka dot cardstock and then was trimmed from the top to fit on the card. The man was stamped in onyx and the tie was stamped in grape. The sugar cardstock with the image was popped up on the grape cardstock which had onyx/white baker's twine wrapped around. That was popped up over the fishtail so it was a double-popped card. See below for a side view.
Inside of the card, is the sentiment from the father's day set. Isn't it fun with the mustache? love it! It's stamped in grape. Love grape!! wonderful shade of purple. :)
So that's it, a little die cutting...a little stamping...a little smile.

Mother's Day Cards: Tea Theme - Aren't You Sweet
There's this lovely teapot/teacup stamp set in the latest a muse studio catalog, aren't you sweet. I find it charming and it makes me think of my Grammie. She had a few fancy pretty teacups that she'd gotten over the years as gifts and party prizes. When she passed away, my sister and I each got one - so special.
I love how some of the old teacups had a pinkish or tealish hue in the glaze so I tried to re-create that below with copics.I should have written down the colors but... ;)
The vintage labels 1 die makes a perfect little placemat for a tea cup. Don't you agree?
Although it's blurry, isn't this font pretty? :)
Here the vintage label makes a sweet spot for a sentiment. The scalloped border creates a "shelf" for the teapot and teacup.
Thanks for popping in and have a most wonderful day celebrating your mom. I hope you're as lucky to have a great mom like I do!
