Cherry, Onyx and Glitter - A Simple Stunning Z-Fold Christmas Card

What happens when you mix cherry and onyx with vanilla and champagne glitter? Fabulosity!! :) This is a super simple z-fold card.

How do you make a z-fold? It really is super simple. Take a 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" piece of vanilla cardstock. Score at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4". Fold the first flap back at the 2 1/8" score line and the second fold is forward at the 4 1/4" line like a regular card fold. That's it - z-fold is done. :)

To decorate it, add onyx strips to the vanilla card base. I put one strip on each fold and a half-inch strip on the right side. Take the ornament die cut and put a 1/2" piece of red-line tape across the center. Add champagne glitter and exclaim "that's so pretty!" and then continue on with the card. :) Center your cherry ornament and glue it down (only put adhesive on half as the other half will be exposed). :)

The ornament die cut shape is from the Vintage Labels 2 die set which is currently unavailable. But, you could easily do this with a circle or scalloped circle or diamond or any other cute shape.

Add the bow from the small bow die and add your sentiment inside and you're done. Easy peasy!
Here's a look at it all the way flat.
And, here are two views of it open with the sentiment (from the Christmas Joy and Cheer stamp set) showing behind the ornament. Isn't this just fun?
