I love stamping on our twill ribbon. The A Muse Studio ink stamps beautifully whether it's a fine font or a detailed background stamp. This is the screen print background and it looks wonderful on the ribbon, the leaf and the tag, don't you agree? OK - I agree - it's hard to see the stamping on the navy but you get the idea. :)
By the way, the twill ribbon is 20% off during November. :) It comes in two sizes and is a wonderful ribbon to use on many different projects! And, being stampable makes it even more versatile. You might remember the Santa's Flight card using the twill earlier this fall. Check out www.amusestudio.com/seleise to get this great ribbon!
The gift card die cut with two rounded corners is used to make the top layer and a matching rectangle with rounded corners is the base. No adhesive was used to make this project. Instead, the crop-a-dile is used to punch a hole through both layers and the twill ribbon is threaded through to hold the two layers together. The leaf is tied on with navy baker's cording around the twill so there's no bulky knot.
You could tie this on a gift bag and add a gift card. Or, you could put a gift card or a photo or a little ATC note in the openings on the front of the tag and put it each person's place at Thanksgiving.Or, you could find another great way to use this gift card holder. If you add a gift card to this tag, I'd suggest adding a glue dot behind the gift tag to hold it in place.
Have fun thinking of more ways to use this tag and have a wonderfully creative day!!
