Is your day going by swimmingly? Hope so! This fun Sealed With a Fish set looks great combined with the fishtail dies and the rolling seas background, don't you think? The base is mermaid, the large fishtail die is bermuda and the top is sugar. The rolling seas background and fish bubbles are in bermuda and the fishies are in ocean ink. Isn't that a great combo?
Here's a close-up of the bubbles and waves. Isn't that fun? I'm thinking those bubbles could be used on other projects as well so will have to ponder some options. :)
Here's the inside. More fishies!!
Have a wonderfully creative day!!

A Splashy, Sparkly Hello - Quick and Simple
A Muse Studio has these wonderful new word dies and here's one I used in my March card class. I cut the word out of clear cardstock (acetate/transparency) and spread Tombow Mono Multi glue on the back. I let it dry and it became an instant repositionable mask. Yep. It's one of the great things about Mono Multi. It works as glue normally works. But, if you let it dry without adhering it to anything, it become a repositionable item which is perfect for masking. And, I learned recently to make my masks out of clear cardstock and then you can use them over and over and over. But, if you don't have any acetate on hand, use cardstock and just know that it has a limited lifespan. ;)
I put the hello mask on the sugar cardstock layer (5 1/4" X 4") and spritzed over it with lime splash. Peeled up the mask and voila - a pretty hello floating in the splashy background. A side strip from the new paper pack, Everything's Rosy, and some bubblegum organdy polka dot ribbon added some oomph to the design. The final step was to add a little lime glitter. I used the quickie glue pen and dotted randomly on the background and then poured on some lime glitter. This was the result. A bright, cheery, splashy and glittery hello card that would be perfect to pop in the mail. ;)
Here's the inside. Lime ink and more of that pretty 6X6 paper pack!

Hi! Tombow Watercolor Background
What happens when you take some Bristol paper, tombow markers, a little water and a clear acrylic block? You have all you need to make the most amazing watercolor backgrounds for your cards! I used 5 tombow markers to create this one. You scribble on the clean acrylic block and then mist with a spray bottle filled with water. The tombow marker will bead up and then you wipe it across the Bristol paper until you've wiped all the color off the block. Wipe the remaining water off the block with a paper towel and repeat the process with another marker color until your background paper is full. You can dab the Bristol paper with a paper towel to help it dry.
Once the cardstock was dry, I stamped modern zinnia in mermaid and grapefruit on the background. I inked once and stamped twice to get variations in shade and design. Then, I added the Valentine washi and popped up a bermuda petite polka dot envelope and mermaid petite pinstripe with the Even Taller Alphabet letters "hi" cut out of grapefruit.
I forgot to take a picture of the inside but it had some grapefruit zinnias stampe on the edges.
Wouldn't this card just make someone's day?! I think so and it's so easy to do! :) Plus the beauty is that you can make this with so many marker variations and it will look entirely different. I loved seeing how different each of the backgrounds were in class. Some colored a lot and made the background darker. Some colored a little and had a pastel background like mine. Each was beautiful and each worked perfectly for the card.
I hope you'll give this watercolor background a try! If you don't have any tombow markers, you can pick some up here: www.amusestudio.com/seleise

hello
A Hundred Wishes is such a great stamp set! It can be used for chalk popping. It can be used for graduation cards. It can be used for birthday cards and here's a take as a simple "hello" notecard. I'm loving this Ocean cardstock color. It's just so yummy and the dandelion puff just pops when stamped in versafine ink on it! And, doesn't it look great against the onyx pinstripe! A little onyx and tuxedo washi finish off the look on the front along with some ocean petite polka dot ribbon and some vanilla twine.

Here's the inside. I love repeating the image on the inside to finish off the card. :)

Anchors Aweigh - Tombow Marker Background
Here's a little love from the sea. ;) Anchors Aweigh is such a cute set and it looks great with the rolling seas background, don't you agree? And, it's on sale through the end of July so it's a great time to add it to your collection! www.amusestudio.com/seleise
I am now totally addicted to the tombow marker watercolor backgrounds. This one uses the blueberry and lime tombow markers. After it dried, the rolling seas background was stamped on top in Cobalt ink and the white tombow gel pen was used to put white caps on the waves. Isn't that fun?
I stamped the whale and ship in cobalt on mermaid pinstripe cardstock and the rope circle in lime. All of the shapes are cut from the matching dies for the Anchors Aweigh set. I ADORE matching die sets! I just got my goodies from the new catalog and have several new die sets to play with! :)
The card base is cobalt with a layer of lime and a layer of Bristol watercolor paper (used for the tombow background).

Just Saying Hello! - Bandana Technique
I have a confession to make. The a│s designers made this card with bandanas all over the front cherry panel. It was gorgeous! But, I was going to have 16 stampers at camp and after doing a full card front myself, I knew there was NO WAY this was going to work. They'd kill me. It takes quite a while to do a full card front of bandana technique gel penning. But, one is not bad and one worked pretty well and with the twine and pinstripe and onyx pearls and so I modified and it was all good. :)

Hi! What's Up?
There are 11 stamp sets with matching die sets in the A Muse Studio catalog and I LOVE them! I paired the What's Up die set and stamp set with Woo Hoo for you and this is the result!
Isn't this new Berry color fabulous?!!! I LOVE it!!! I can't get enough of it. It's rich and bright and berrylicious! And, I've got it paired with the mermaid pinstripe and a little onyx border and it just makes my heart happy! I stamped the little girl from the Woo Hoo For You and decided to put her right on the berry because not everyone likes to color. So, I wanted to show that it can still be used even if you don't color it. The berry ink is the in the what's up die bubbles and the chevrons stamped over the pinstripe. Isn't that a fun idea?
Here's the inside. The what's up stamp set and matching die set would be great for scrapbooking. You could add the fun little word bubbles by your photos to add some extra fun accents! And, they would pop in a mini album!
So, that's the card for the day. Hope you enjoyed it and thanks for popping by!
Oh - and, all supplies are available in my webstore: www.amusestudio.com/seleise
Have a gloriously creative week!

Hello
Tweet heart is such a cute set and makes a great valentine or a great hello and more. You can put the little bird in the tree or put him to the side or just use the tree or bird on its own. I used the retired onyx gingham as the card base and the rest of the cardstock is cherry, grapefruit, blush and sugar.
Here's the inside. Fast and easy but wouldn't you love to get a "hello" card in the mail from a friend? I'm sure my friends would (I'm kind of postally challenged - lol!). Maybe this one will actually get out the door...maybe. lol! :)

Hello!
Good morning! Here's a little black/red gingham card for you this morning. It's another quick card that a few spellbinder dies help pull together. Don't you love nesties? I can't get enough of them!!! A fiskars border punch was part of the creative process as well. CAS - don't you agree? I hope so as I'm participating in the Just One Word challenge on the "Less is More" CAS blog.
What do you think? I love the music notes - aren't they wonderful? Have a fabulously creative day and keep a song in your heart!
All products except the fiskars punch are from A Muse Studio: www.amusestudio.com/seleise

How ya' bean?
"How ya' bean?" hee hee! I love that phrase - reminds me of Joey on Friends - "how you doin'?" (did you do the accent in your mind? I did! lol!)
This is another card that I did with my class this month. We got to play with a couple of the papers - polka dot and plain! I am so in love with these papers already! And, we used The Perfect Blend and Swanky Backgrounds stamp sets.
This is the inside of the card. The coffee beans are carried into the inside of the card - still in the four corners. The a*muse studio ink is so wonderful that even though it's a pigment pad, you still get the detail in the teeny bean image. AWESOME!!!
Here's a close-up of the center cup/flower/paper element. The a*muse studio flower actually started out plain. No really, it did! See the picture below. But,with a little touch of the very tip of the copic markers, a polka dot flower was created to match the papers and copic colored coffee to go cup. Super fun way to create fabulous flowers to match whatever project you're working on.
This paper flower is the cosmos and can be purchased on its own (100 for $6.95) or you get 16 or so in the Meadow Mix pack which is a variety of 100 flowers for $6.95. www.amusestudio.com/seleise (look under embellishments). I got these little beauties in my starter kit and let me tell you, it's sure been fun to play with them!
Ok - I've got to get back to my custom order of 100 favor boxes and then will work on some custom card orders and swaps. Fun stuff! Have a wonderfully creative day!
