Camp Wanna Stamp

I can't believe it's been a week since I posted and yet I totally believe it's been a week since I posted as last week was crazy busy!! Mostly fun with friends and family with a little work thrown in too.

I held my first ever Stamp Camp on Saturday and it was a blast!!!  We stamped and laughed and snacked. Good times. :)

Here are the treats that I made for each camper:
The water bottles have a petite polka dot band, lemonade packet, either a mermaid or sky straw and a squeeze the day embellishment using buttercup and onyx ink and the squeeze the day stamp set and matching die set. The badge holders are made with the small fishtail pennant from that die set and are cut from a variety of a muse studio felt colors. The camper treats are made with a nutter butter cookie, a mini vanilla wafer and fruit roll-ups (well, technically mine are made with fruit by the foot because I picked up the wrong box so had to use three strips instead of one - still super fun though) and an edible food pen to make the face. Thanks, Nancy, for sharing this link for this idea:

The "campers" fit perfectly in the small cello a muse studio treat bags and the topper is made with grapefruit chevron and "hello from camp" sentiment. Easy peasy and fun!

There were five tables with three cards each so each camper made 15 cards (technically one was a treat bag so 14 cards and 1 project!). As they finished each of the three cards, they earned a badge to put on their badge holder. It was great fun to see the cards through-out the day to see the variations. :) I'll be sharing the cards over the next few days (maybe weeks) but for now, here are a few photos from the day. I had a blast and my campers said they did too so yea!!!
Pre-campers. Three cards on each table with all of the supplies. I put the sample cards in clear envelopes and card sleeves to make them easier to find on the table.
The display table. :)

The food - camp-style food. Have you made the meatballs with grape jelly and chili sauce? If not, you must! YUM! Fill a large crockpot with frozen original meatballs and added 1 32 oz jar of grape jelly and two 12 oz jars of chili sauce (Heinz or Best Choice). Stir occasionally. Heat until warmed through (3-4 hours) - they get better as the day goes along.
The snacks (rice krispie treats and Golden Graham s'mores treats - run, don't walk, to the store to get the supplies to make these - YUM! http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/golden-grahams-smores/5a2f5df0-3c93-4bed-9fbe-20c1ebafc8b3. And, I got these cute little stands on Pick Your Plum - fun bargains there!

And, my mom came!! She's the one in pink in the lower right corner of the photo. Loved having her there!!

So, that's the day, in a nutshell. Thanks for all who came! I loved spending the day with you!! And, if you couldn't make it, wish you could have been there too to laugh and create with us!

Have a wonderfully creative day!!
