"Anything But a Card" Angel Art Blog Hop

It's time for another Angel Art Blog Hop and I'm so excited to see all the fabulous creations. This month has the theme of "Anything But a Card." I made another Halloween treat holder and you can use it several different ways.

I was inspired by Lisa Somerville once again. I took her idea of a 3 test tube holder and shrunk it down. http://www.lisasomerville.com/2009/02/test-tube-holder-box-using-bigz-die-box.html

I used the Trick Or Treaters Stamp set for the little mummy and popped him up after adding a little grey tombow for depth. Aren't the googly eyes a fun touch?!

and how about instead of a candy treat, putting in chapstick? Wouldn't these make great stocking stuffers at Christmas? If you're interested in the pattern, please send me an e-mail: sbamethyst@gmail.com

What do you think? I hope you take the time to visit all the blogs below to see the other fabulous projects!

Glad you found inspiration in my holders. Great idea to shrink the pattern down - they'd make wonderful stocking stuffers, or Secret Santa gifts!

I think you are brilliant! LOVE the idea of chapsticks in them. That's what I'm going to do with the smartie holders we made. This is awesome though.....love it (yes, I'll take a pattern, lol)!

Grand make ahead idea! I have a make 'n take workshop in a month where this test tube idea will be a total blast! from the past! especially if I am able to land some oldies flavors at Candy Town, a retro candy store carrying thirties to sixties brands and flavors. What a versatile gift idea. A papercrafted top/ lid slip over style would be so fine then all that would be needed is a ribbon wrap around long enough to tie in a pull apart bow/ retie bow closure. Secure for brothers' inspection! Well, for a few seconds.
Keep looking UP!
