"Anything But a Card" Angel Art Blog Hop

It's time for another Angel Art Blog Hop and I'm so excited to see all the fabulous creations. This month has the theme of "Anything But a Card." I made another Halloween treat holder and you can use it several different ways.

I was inspired by Lisa Somerville once again. I took her idea of a 3 test tube holder and shrunk it down.

I used the Trick Or Treaters Stamp set for the little mummy and popped him up after adding a little grey tombow for depth. Aren't the googly eyes a fun touch?!

and how about instead of a candy treat, putting in chapstick? Wouldn't these make great stocking stuffers at Christmas? If you're interested in the pattern, please send me an e-mail:

What do you think? I hope you take the time to visit all the blogs below to see the other fabulous projects!

  1. OMG ... how cute are these! I love how they can hold a multitude of items!!!

  2. Cute little holder!! Mine would ALWAYS be empty- I LOVE smarties, even more than Chocolate!!;-)
The googly eyes are too funny.

  3. Seleise - these are super cute and has so many possibilities! The mummy is fabulous and the google eyes are fantastic.

  4. How cute - will have to see if there are directions on line. Love the little mummy.

  5. You are such a smartie to use smartie candies! Great little snack holder! Perfect for Halloween!

  6. Glad you found inspiration in my holders. Great idea to shrink the pattern down - they'd make wonderful stocking stuffers, or Secret Santa gifts!

  7. This is so cute Seleise!! I love the size of it and the googly eyes are very cute too!

  8. I think you are brilliant! LOVE the idea of chapsticks in them. That's what I'm going to do with the smartie holders we made. This is awesome it (yes, I'll take a pattern, lol)!

  9. those googly eyes! You always come up with the 'funnest' things for these hops! Great projects again, Seleise!

  10. CUTE! I love that little mummy!

  11. I think you are brilliant! Love the idea and the project is so cute!

  12. Sooo CUTE! This could be used so many ways... You always have great ideas! TFS : )

  13. Grand make ahead idea! I have a make 'n take workshop in a month where this test tube idea will be a total blast! from the past! especially if I am able to land some oldies flavors at Candy Town, a retro candy store carrying thirties to sixties brands and flavors. What a versatile gift idea. A papercrafted top/ lid slip over style would be so fine then all that would be needed is a ribbon wrap around long enough to tie in a pull apart bow/ retie bow closure. Secure for brothers' inspection! Well, for a few seconds.
    Keep looking UP!

Thank you for visiting my blog! I appreciate your comments more than you will ever know!
