Mitten Pocket with 1X8 Treat Bag

Hello! I hope you are having a wonderful day today! I'm looking forward to the Thanksgiving break and kicking into hyperspeed gear for my last craft fair of the season as well as the Christmas gift making season!

Here's a fun and easy project to make for coworker gifts or stocking stuffers or secret santa gifts or to hang on the Christmas tree. It's a mitten pocket!
This one is made with navy petite polka dot cardstock and the large mitten die. You put two sheets of polka dot cardstock together (polka dots facing each other) and run it through your Grand Caliber (or other die cutting machine). This gives you both sides of the pocket. Glue the outside edges together and let dry. Then, tie french roast bakers twine around the wrist. A little Merry Christmas (Santa Clause is Coming to Town stamp set) stamped in navy ink on wasabi with a little winter sky pearl finishes off the look.  Die cut the large snowflake from the snowflake die trio and add another larger winter sky pearl in the center and attach to the pocket.

The final step is to fill a 1X8 treat bag with plain m&ms. If you use a single snack bag to fill the treat bag, you have room to push the m&ms so they're more at an angle and that helps them fit in the small pocket better. Here's a top side view.
So, there you have it. A super fun and easy mitten pocket that will be sure to delight the recipient.
