http://tsurutadesigns.blogspot.com/2014/12/holiday-coffee-lovers-blog-hop-details.html

This is my first entry and I have some other ideas so hope I get to do another post or two before the hop ends.

How about some caffeinated holiday spirit! :)  The A Muse Studio Need to Venti die set is perfect for some festive coffee Christmas joy, don't you think? And, the mini bow die is a super cute topper for these special ornaments. The sentiment is from A Handwritten Christmas and is enhanced with the gold Signo gel pen. The ornaments have a touch of gold pen too. The gold star cardstock provides the perfect festive base. :) I drank some caramel vanilla cream coffee while creating this card and the creamy goodness was my inspiration!

Now, not only am I hopping, but I'm giving away some SURPRISE BLOG CANDY. Leave a comment on my post and you'll be entered to win. Please be sure your contact e-mail is connected to your comment so I can get in touch with you if your name is chosen as the winner. :)

So, I don't know about you but coffee always makes me think of cookies. I found this sugar cookie recipe in a Taste of Home magazine years ago and it's become a family favorite for the holiday season. The cookies are so soft and the flavor is lovely. Enjoy!

White Velvet Cutouts

2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
2 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla extract
4-1/2 c. all-purpose flour

Butter Cream frosting:
3-1/2 c. powdered sugar, divided
3 tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
1 tbsp. shortening
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3-4 tbsp. milk, divided
red and/or green food coloring, optional

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and cream cheese until light and
fluffy. Add sugar, egg yolks and vanilla; mix well. Gradually add
flour. Cover and chill 2 hours or until firm. Roll out on a floured
surface to 1/4" thickness. Cut into shapes and place 1 in. apart on
baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until set (not
browned). Cool 5 minutes, remove to wire racks to cook. For
frosting, combine 1-1/2 c. powdered sugar, butter, shortening,
vanilla and 3 tbsp. milk in a mixing bowl; beat until smooth.
Gradually add remaining sugar; beat until light and fluffy - about 3
minutes. Add enough remaining milk and food coloring until frosting
reaches desired consistency. Frost cookies. Yield: approx. 7 dozen.

Thanks for hopping by and I look forward to visiting all the other participants blogs.

Oh! I almost forgot - all of the hop cards will be found on this Pinterest board: https://www.pinterest.com/tsuruta/holiday-coffee-lovers-blog-hop-2014/

Have a wonderfully creative day!
