Beyond the Egg - Balloons - Quick and Simple Cards

The Egg Die from A Muse Studio is a great little die because it only costs $4.95 and yet, it's full of possibilities. I posted yesterday with four options for the die besides Easter Eggs. Now, I'll introduce you to the options a little more closely.

I had a couple of egg die cuts in front of me and just the way they were on my table, upside down in a group, they just popped as balloons. I debated about trimming the oval to have a little indent and balloon end but decided to keep it in the oval shape as it gave the same effect and was more along the lines of a quick and simple card. The great thing is that you can use all different shapes and colors and make masculine and feminine cards all with the same simple design. You could make a bunch of these to have on hand and you'd be ready to go to any birthday party at a moment's notice. And, change the sentiment to congratulations and you've got a great new job card or baby card or new house card or whatever!
You can also add in pattern paper and acetate and glitter and have even more options. And, the baker's twine can be added with any color or you could use twine or ribbon or silver cording for the balloon ties. Add a person or an animal and  you can have the cording come out of their hand to show them "holding" the balloon. So many fun options.

Masculine Balloon card:
Stamp set: Cupcake Companion
Cardstock: Kraft with cobalt, orange and fern.
Baker's Cording: lemon whip, heather and green
Ink: Cobalt

Feminine Balloon card:
Stamp set: Cupcake Companion

Baker's Cording: Blush and Heather

Have a wonderfully creative day!!
