Valentine's M&M Heart 1X8 Treat Holder

How about a project to get you in the Valentine's spirit? This is a super easy and fun project featuring the 1X8 treat bag and the big heart die.

This is a straight on view but since I've got the m&m's treat bag at an angle, it looks a little weird. But, I wanted you to get the full effect. It's the big heart die cut from petite polka dot cherry cardstock. I used the 1" circle punch to punch  two holes to thread the ribbon through.

Here's the pic of the back so that part will make sense. The holes are big enough that you could thread the 1X8 treat bag filled with m&m's through it but it kind of makes the heart warp and I didn't like that effect as well.

Isn't that cherry silky crush ribbon, yummy?! I just love it!!

To keep the treat bag from sliding out of the ribbon, I added some 3D Foam on each side of the ribbon. The final step was to tie some of the brand new cherry baker's cording and tie it around the smallest bunny from the bunny trio die set. Pop it up on the ribbon and voila! A sweet little Valentine for someone special!
