Script background is the first layer in saffron ink. It's followed by the maple leaf in pumpkin ink, the small leaf in poppy ink and the long leaf in grass ink. The sentiment is in nutmeg ink.I edged the sugar cardstock in pumpkin ink to finish off the look.
The cardstock layers are pumpkin to the lower left and sugar, grass and saffron on the upper right. They're all layered on french roast cardstock.
The ribbon is an example of how to stretch your silky crush ribbon. Tie a knot in a 4 inch piece and trim the ends. Tie french roast baker's twine around the silky crush ribbon knot and attach to the card with a glue dot. Easy peasy. :) You could also just tie the twine around the ribbon to make the knot but I liked the look of the silky crush knot.
And, do you see the little gold dots on the pumpkin layer? That's the gold gel pen. It's so awesome! I added a gold dot a at the base of the maple leaves too. It just adds a touch of shimmer.
Here's the inside. More of the same colors repeated. Aren't those leaves gorgeous? It would be a perfect card to share with a cider hostess gift, don't you think?
Oh and don't forget there are spotlight specials for November too!
Have a wonderfully creative day!!
