Birthday Chalkboard Technique - Take 2: SCS CAS214
More chalkboard technique fun with the May hostess gift set! I found that the A Muse Studio shell ink is actually "perfect" for this technique! It stays "wet" a little longer so you can rub it around on the embossed sentiment and get great "chalkiness" on the board. So much fun! The base is berry with a bubblegum strip and Labels 8 is the shape of the onyx piece (chalkboard). The side flower is made with washi from the Valentine collection (which you can get all year!), a forget-me-not flower and a black brad. Easy peasy!
A simple "celebrate" in berry ink finishes off the inside. I adore the berry color! So happy and fun!
This is another card for the SCS Challenge CAS214. Such a fun challenge group!
Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!
