Operation Write Home (OWH) is a fantastic way to spread some love for the military heros so that they can spread some hand-made love to their families and friends. OWH had a tri-fold shutter card template posted
on their blog for 8.5X11" paper.
Here's the .pdf diagram file. You may remember that I featured a tri-fold shutter card about a year ago
on this post and that is using 12X12 paper.
I decided to take the fabulous OWH diagram and put together the following card with the A Muse Studio Chill of Winter stamp set. I LOVE those snowpeople - one even has a purse! Click on the photo to see it larger!
The cardstocks are sage, grass and cherry petite polka dot, cherry
gingham and cherry layered on sugar.The ink is memento for the snow
family who are colored with copics and cut out. The other inks are
cherry and pebble.
As you can see, I only used one layer as I didn't want to bulk up the card. So, I used the first layering piece on the template (the one closest to the edge).
Here's what it looks like folded up. It fits in an A2 envelope and is a SUPER FUN way to share the Christmas love with your family and friends!

The card is beautiful, and thanks so much for the template - I love these cards, but it would be wonderful to be able use Amuse Studio card.
