Tri-Fold Shutter Card

This is a great card design that looks much more difficult than it really is. Laurie Willison, another TAC angel, posted her card (so awesome!) and also a link to a great tutorial. I was so excited and just had to try it. So, here you go - my first tri-fold shutter card! My class LOVED making it and that made my day! Such a wonderful group of ladies! Back to the card - the best part is that you can get two cards out of one sheet of 12" X 12" paper and all the designer paper pieces for one card from one sheet of 8" X 8" paper and that's if you cover every open space. You can also leave some open. It's great to play with all the variations.

I created a very rough sketch for how to cut the 8X8 paper. What do you think?
Supplies: Kraft 12X12 cardstock, Monkey Business, Celebration Time, Antique Spiral Clips, Brown Scrappers Floss, Rustic Chic 8X8 paper, Versamagic Jumbo Java ink

Thanks for dropping in and have a fabulous week-end! Happy Stamping!

This is so cute! Love the cutting chart too, do you have this available anywhere to print out, pdf maybe? I've been wanting to make this card, but the paper sizes have held me back. LOL

Very cute card. The DP is lovely. I always seem to notice DP because I just love the stuff! Thanks for the sketch. I'm doing a tutorial this Tuesday that requires something like this and I played in photoshop yesterday and couldn't figure out how to do it. Ugh!
