Whew! I just got a big website project mostly done and now I can get back to stamping (without feeling guilty about it! - hee hee!). I made this card earlier this summer as a friend had placed an order for sympathy cards. I love mixing floral sets with the sympathy sentiments from TAC. This features one of my favorite stamp sets, Simply Divine, with our wonderful sympathy set, With Sympathy . I think the black and cream create the perfect base for a sympathy card and the red gives it just the right splash of color without being inappropriate for the occasion. I like how the black buttons finish it off. And, did you notice the scoring at top? Simple little details enhance a card design.
On a completely different note, Chris is offering blog candy. You should drop by and see her creativity at work on her blog. She is a talented lady and one of my SBS4 sisters!
Happy Stamping!

I need to get me a simple "sympathy" set. Refresh my memory...are you in the US? How much would it cost to get a TAC catalog? This looks great!

Seleise this is such a nice card, one that under those circumstances would be comforting to receive. I really like how it isn't 'corny' like so many store bought sympathy cards are.

Beautiful card. (Awww, man. I just placed an order last night- and now I **Need** Simply Divine!! Oh well, I will have to order again- real soon. LOL)
WHat? No dew drops? Is that possible? It must be illegal or something! :-)
Wanna go to JC with me tuesday?
What a simply lovely sympathy card! Love the understated black/white with the pop of color!
Hi Seleise,
What a lovely card! I've been wanting to make some, but I'm just out of ideas. I'll definitely case yours.
This is a great sympathy card!!! Very elegant!!
What a fun card,
very nice card, Seleise!! Thank you for supporting me so much !!
Very pretty! It's always so hard for me to make nice sympathy cards. And I wanted to say, I shuffled through all of my stuff and yes, thank you for my card and all of the fun images. Those flamingos are a riot! Sorry it took me forever to get back to you. Hope you had a great weekend!
Very simple design for your sympathy card, but very elegant and beautiful as well. Great job. I never know how much is too much when it comes to keeping it looking elegant. I will keep your card in mind for my sympathy cards, too. Thanks! :) Kel
