Birthday Fun!

Here's a little birthday fun to brighten up a Monday. This is a quick and simple card that's mostly all stamping. It features some fun summery colors but could be made in many color combos - teals and blues, pinks and purples, yellows and greens...you get the idea.

This card features the snow day background stamp which is perfect for confetti as well as snow. Isn't that a fun idea?! I just love it! Some Cupcake Companion numbers were stamped with the coordinating ink colors and some flowers die cut using Flower Die Set 1 were added with just a touch of champagne glitter in the middle. The card base is sugar. The colors of the inks are: grapefruit, apple and melon (formerly bellini) and the cardstocks are grapefruit, melon, poppy, apple and papaya.
The design is repeated on the inside with a strip of orange and a sentiment in apple ink. It's a cheery birthday card, don't you think? Guaranteed to bring a smile to the recipient's face.

By the way, did you know that you get 40 sheets of sugar cardstock for the same price as the 20 sheets of colored cardstock. It's true for the vanilla too. It's a great value to get those two colors to stretch your cardmaking dollars. :)

If you want to make one of these cards too, you can get the pieces and parts in my secure online store: shop online

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderfully creative day!
