Hope There's a Party in Your Day!!! and CAS165

Hello again! Happy to see you!! What have you been up to? I have been working on sorting and cleaning up my craft stuff to get ready for the upcoming craft fair season. I'm not doing it right because now I have more piles than when I began. oops. lol! But, it's all part of getting more organized. In theory anyway. ;)If you have any tips on storing all the random bits and pieces, please let me know. :) But, I stopped sorting last night and made some cards so here's a birthday card that's just fun and cheery. And, yes, I cut out the little girl - those fingers were a challenge!
I love the mixture of the shimmer damask and the polka dots, don't you? Makes a fun little edge for the image which is colored with copic markers. It's hard to tell in the photo but there's spica glitter pen dotted all over the sentiment. It's subtle and shimmery and wonderful. :)
Here's the inside - just a Happy Birthday sentiment to finish off the card.

All Supplies are A Muse Studio:  www.amusestudio.com/seleise
Cardstock: blush, onyx petite polka dot, bubblegum shimmer damask
Stamps: woo hoo for you, vintage labels 2, birthday greetings and celebrate in style
Dies: vintage labels 2
Ink: grapefruit
Copics: E000, 00, 01 (skin); N1, 5, 7 (skirt and collar); RV 10, 14, 21 (shirt); E55, 57, 59  (hair)

This is also a CAS card using scallops so I'm entering it in the CAS165 challenge from April 9th on SCS. I love that you can play with any of the challenges whenever it works best for you. :)

Have a wonderfully creative day!!!

First, your card is totally adorable! I don't recall seeing this image in the catty - will have to go back and look! Great idea, Seleise, mixing the two CS's on the border...they look great together! Next - Egads, scraps...good luck with that! Shirley has the BEST system ever for her solids - she keeps each color of scrap in a gallon sized zip loc bag, and has them standing up in a basket. Very easy to grab a bag and dig for a scrap. I cut my scraps to card front size, 2 x 3 and 2 x 2, and have them in little drawers. I buy almost all of my DP in 6 x 6 pads now, and keep my scraps with the pad using a large office binder clip. Hope to see some craft fair stuff soon! Hugs...

What an awesome darling card - I was not totally in love with this little girl but you now make me add her to my wish list. :). Love the ticket too, I have that die and don't use it enough.
