Modified Gate Birthday Card

Hello! So good to see you here on my blog today! Thanks for popping in! Recently, I saw the cutest card design - a modified gate fold - on Karen Crisp's blog. I was inspired by how she put her card together so I made my own version for my March card class. Karen has directions on her blog so click the link above to find out how to make your own version.

I used the petite polka dot cardstock in blueberry, french roast and orange. The base of the card is lime cardstock and the accent pieces are papaya. There is a little copic coloring (YR12 & 15 - frosting and flame, E55, 57 and 59 - cake and B95 and 97 for the plate and candle) on the piece of cake and some navy and papaya inks on the words. All of these stamps are in the stamp set A Very Merry Un-Birthday! It's such a great set!! All products used are from A Muse Studio: www.amusestudio.com/seleise (consultant #1379)
Isn't this a super fun design? I can see using it over and over again for many different occasions. :) I think this card is perfect to share with the Cute Card Thursday challenge blog for the Challenge 209 - Anything Goes. I missed the birthday card challenge the week before because I was just too busy to take a photo but since this is anything goes, I can keep the celebration going. Congrats CCT on your 4th b-day!!!

Have a wonderfully creative day!!!

What ymminess! Those colors are so much fun, and I think I've become a muse cardstock's biggest fan. Great card, Seleise!
