Do you remember a copic butterfly card I made in June? I had some leftover copic vellum butterflies from that project, a leftover fence from another project and a leftover TAC sentiment in my "parts" box so I put them all together and layered the elements on a shell cardstock piece centered on seattle. I like this happy little "just because" card. You just never know when your leftover pieces and parts and scraps will come in handy! What do you think?

Batty Halloween Treat Box
I had a fun week-end at a family wedding and now need to dive into craft fair items! So much to do this week but am looking forward to the Beloit Holiday Fair this Saturday (October 27th!) in Beloit, Kansas!! Hope you stop in and check out our craft fair booth!
Here's a fun popcorn box filled with treats (some of these may make an appearance in the booth)!! The a muse studio popcorn box is so easy to use with the Grand Caliber. I cut this one out of watermelon cardstock and stamped the screenprint background in pebble ink all over it before assembling it. I used the rosette die to make the polka dot rosette and added it to the box and finished it off with a large onyx felt bat from the bat trio die set. Here it is from another angle.
I can't wait to make some of these up decorated for Christmas. :) It would be great for a little nail polish/ make-up gift holder too. Hmm - wonder what else would fit in this box... :)
All products are a muse studio: www.amusestudio.com/seleise
And, have you ordered your FREE Stamp Out Breast Cancer stamp set yet? It's a GREAT set! You can order it here and will only be charged the $3 shipping fee: www.amusestudio.com/seleise

Once Upon a Midnight Dreary... treat bag
What happens when you mix a super cute little lunch bag with grape cardstock, glitter, washi tape, felt bats and the nevermore stamp set?! This! This happens!!!
The bat trio die set is awesome. These are the two smaller bats cut from onyx felt. I'll show the large bat on another treat container coming soon to this blog. :) The skull from Nevermore is gruesomely awesome in bellini cardstock, don't you think? And, popped up on the grape is just striking! The text is stamped in lemon whip on the grape and the orange ink is used with the sentiment on a strip of lichen. The rest is in tuxedo black memento ink.
Do you like the glitter swirls? They're made using the quickie glue pen. Just draw whatever swirl shapes you like - the more uneven the better - and while the glue is still blue (it comes out blue and it dries clear!), add your orange and lime glitter. I did some dots too to add even more glittery wonderfulness! :)
A little washi tape finishes off the project. What do you think? It's a great way to make memorable treat bags for Halloween night!

Season's Greetings (snow globe die)
Pistachio and seattle are a lovely peaceful cardstock combination for a Christmas card. Don't you agree? And the greeting is also in seattle ink. I love how well the a muse studio ink handles the fonts. So crisp and clear!
The snow globe is cut from seattle cardstock and the base is from onyx with a little a│s silver cord to dress it up. The image is stamped in versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. The snow in the stamp set only fills part of the globe so I dabbed the hard tip of the versamarker gently adding dots above the stamped image to fill in more snow and then embossed that part too. I love the flexibility of the versamarker to "fill in" places for embossing magic. :)
Here's the inside. Simple and classy. This card uses all three images from Winter Wood.

Ahhnouncing! He's Here!
How about a little bermuda chevron and petite polka dot loveliness for a baby boy announcement or congratulations card!
Here's the outside! There's a little washi tape too - I love it! It's from the spring collection pack! So handy and not as bulky as ribbon but adds such great details to cards. fun stuff!
And, here's the inside! Both the outside and the inside use the vintage labels 2 die. It's got 4 great shapes in three different sizes. So handy!
The a muse studio ahhnouncing stamp set is soooo fun. It's so retro and I love it!
All supplies used can be found here: www.amusestudio.com/seleise

OWH Tri-Fold Shutter Snowman Card and SCS Fancy Folds Challenge WT393
Operation Write Home (OWH) is a fantastic way to spread some love for the military heros so that they can spread some hand-made love to their families and friends. OWH had a tri-fold shutter card template posted on their blog for 8.5X11" paper. Here's the .pdf diagram file. You may remember that I featured a tri-fold shutter card about a year ago on this post and that is using 12X12 paper.
I decided to take the fabulous OWH diagram and put together the following card with the A Muse Studio Chill of Winter stamp set. I LOVE those snowpeople - one even has a purse! Click on the photo to see it larger!
The cardstocks are sage, grass and cherry petite polka dot, cherry gingham and cherry layered on sugar. The ink is memento for the snow family who are colored with copics and cut out. The other inks are cherry and pebble.
As you can see, I only used one layer as I didn't want to bulk up the card. So, I used the first layering piece on the template (the one closest to the edge).
Here's what it looks like folded up. It fits in an A2 envelope and is a SUPER FUN way to share the Christmas love with your family and friends! All supplies are from a muse studio and can be purchased from my webstore: www.amusestudio.com/seleise
And, don't forget you can get a free Stamp Out Breast Cancer stamp set while supplies last!

Thinking of You (Pinterest Inspired) and free calendar download
I saw this color block card on Pinterest and knew I needed to make one too. The a muse studio "friend to friend" stamp set is perfect for this project. The cardbase is apricot cardstock with a layer of sugar cardstock on top.
First I made a template with a square spellbinder die. I used a post-it to block the other squares and using my sponge dauber sponged heather, apricot and lichen in each of the "open squares". The key is to start off on the template and pull the sponge dauber onto the open square. This will keep your sponge dauber in tip-top condition and will also put the heaviest ink layer on your template, not on your card. This will give you a softer color block look.
After sponging and stamping the florals with onyx ink, I used the word window die set and cut the opening. I stamped the greeting on a scrap of lichen cardstock and slid it behind the opening.
Here's the inside! You could choose any color to repeat but I'm partial to purple so the heather ink was the perfect finishing touch. And, you can see that the a│s cardstock is white (sugar) on the inside so it's perfect for card-making!
Have you ordered your free stamp set yet? www.amusestudio.com/seleise There's a $3 shipping charge and it will ship in 6-8 weeks. The offer is good while supplies last. The pushpin stamp is in the set for you to stamp on your calendar each month to remind you to do a self-exam. Help spread awareness about early detection of breast cancer. You can download a free calendar here to get you started on a path to keep you on track! http://amusestudio.typepad.com/a-muse-studio/2012/09/stamp-out-breast-cancer.html
