Angel Art Blog Hop: Christmas in July

It's time for another Angel Art Blog Hop sponsored by Paperwings! To get some "Christmas in July" inspiration, check out all the FABULOUS angel art on the blogs listed below the pics.

Much to the chagrin of one of the best people in my life, I LOVE Christmas! She finds it a chore and I find it WONDERFUL!! I love to decorate and celebrate and bake. She does it all too, just not as merrily and yet, she does it fabulously for her family! It's a great way to tease each other so I think I'll torment her today by telling her I'm starting on my Christmas cards. lol!
Here's where I'm starting...I just adore the new TAC Christmas set, Jingle Jolly, which is in the new catalog. And, it will be the stamp of the month in October! I used Copic Caboodles Sets A & B to color the snowmen and used Tombow markers and the Stardust Clear Gel Pen to color the Santa (as I don't have any red copic colors yet - lol!)

I had fun playing with a copic dot background that I learned from Heather who learned it from Barb F. I love how angels share their creativity and talents with each other! What do you think? And, check out the liquid appliqué on the hat. This is what it looks like when it's been hit with a heat gun. Isn't that awesome?

And, check out the liquid appliqué on these hats. I should have spread it out a little better but you get more of a "frosting" effect when you just let it dry on its own. I love that you can get two totally different looks with one product!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope you'll continue hopping to the sites below to enjoy more Christmas in July creativity!

SC 10 Multifold Card

TAC seminar was just over two weeks ago and we had such a blast! But, not everyone was able to go, so on paperwingsonline.com - a message board for angels - we had two weeks of seminar challenges to celebrate the new catalog and the seminar atmosphere! Carol N put this wonderful multi-fold card challenge out there and this was my version. Doesn't the Miss Moxie paper look great with the new TAC Tail Feather's stamp set? It just makes me smile!!!

and, isn't this a super fun card? I love it!!
And, do you know how awesome Carol is? She posted the template on PW. Thanks, Carol! Although the message board is restricted to angels, the gallery is open for all to see and comment on - so check it out for all the wonderfully creative projects made with TAC stamps and products: Paperwings Gallery. Oh - and if you want to see all the wonderful seminar challenge projects, click on the search field (top right) and search for "SC10" and sit back and enjoy all the creativity!

Sending a Latte

What a week-end after quite a week but today I'm home and I'm trying to clean off my craft table so I can start getting ready for my class tomorrow night! I know - but I have ideas ready so just need to sit down and get them going!!

Here's a quick card with two of my fav TAC sets - Skinny Birds and Sending a Latte!

I used prismacolors and goo gone to color in the image but it's such a simple little image that it took no time at all. Added a strip of paper and a layering piece, scalloped the edges - added the sentiment and poof - card done! fast and easy and fun!

ok - I'd better get to the stamping table! Have a great week!

Happy Stamping!

Dear Friend...

How about a little texture and a sweet little image? TAC's Dear Friend is such a cute set and I think she looks darling with her bouquet of flowers, don't you?
