So on to the card for today... How about a cute little kitty to brighten someone's day. This little cutie from the TAC stamp set Brighten Your Day was colored with prisma colors and goo gone. I still get my most delicate shading with prismas but am practicing and getting better with my copics. :) What do you think?

Happy Day!
Whew! My first craft fair is Saturday and I'm working like crazy to get my things done. I'm a procrastinator which is not a good thing when you have lots to get done except that I can usually pull out an extra gear as I get closer to the deadline. ah the irony! lol! I have to say though that I'm so excited to enter the craft fair season. Five of us work together on items for the booth and there's always great variety and styles in the paper crafted items which helps us hit a broader audience. And, it's fun to do things with your friends! So, if you're near Beloit, Kansas, this week-end, pop past the Municipal building and check out what we've come up with this year!

Thanksgiving (Acetate Card)
Here's a quick and easy Thanksgiving card featuring TAC's Autumn Leaves:
It's kind of hard to tell from the photo but the front is acetate. The turkey image and circle is layered on toop of the acetate while the row of leaves on the right and "Happy Thanksgiving" sentiment are stamped on the inside part of the card. There is actually another row of leaves under the left fold.
The acetate is 4-1/4" X 5-1/2" and fits to the fold. The ribbon is holding the acetate to the card so you don't have to worry about adhesive showing through the acetate.
You could easily re-create this card for a variety of occasions. Have fun experimenting!
Have a wonderfully creative day!

Embossed Sympathy
Embossing is the main reason I got into stamping. Seriously. It's like magic to watch the powder change into this fabulous, rich color. Or, to preserve an image when it's clear - amazing. I kind of went embossing crazy at my September class but when you're creating magic - why not?! lol!
I get a lot of sympathy card orders and requests so I'm always looking at different ways to put together cards. There are a lot of embossed cards on the commercial market so it seemed a great way to pull in embossing powder with the TAC With Sympathy and TAC Autumn Leaves stamp set. There was also a happy accident that got added to the card. I was playing around with ribbon and tied two together, started to put it on the card and realized they separated opposite ways. I really liked how they looked this way so kept it. What do you think?
Here's the inside. I carried the torn paper/embossing to the inside to create a complete look.

Wicked Good Blog Hop - you can play too!
It's "time" for the TAC Wicked Good Blog Hop. I'm working on clocks for the upcoming craft fairs so took some time out from my K-State clocks to make a spooky clock to add some Halloween flair to my home. :) Spiders are Seen and the clear gel pen brought this to life along with some fiber and bling (did you see the bling mixed into the fibers too...). What do you think?
You should see all the creativity that's going on with the angels and fans of TAC stamps! Click on the thumbnails below to check out the details. You can play along too!!! All you need to do is use TAC stamps and click the link below. Have some spooky fun!!!

Thinking of You (Sunflowers) and patience...
Hey all - thanks for your patience with my random posting as I've been trying to catch up after vacation. I had a lovely trip with my mom to Colorado and New Mexico and got to see my niece and her family as well as some great friends from college. My mom got to visit a former minister too. Good times. Then, the next week family from Tennessee and Alabama were here to visit so more visiting and fun times. Now, it's time to focus on craft fair items and special orders. yea! (oh and work my full-time job! lol!)
Here's a card that features one of the new stamp sets from TAC, Festive Bouquets. It also features nestabilities Labels 4. I masked off the vase so the sunflowers look like they're inside the vase. I love masking and need to use it more! What do you think?
Oh - and my blog is in the midst of some changes so keep visiting. When I get everything updated, it'll be time for some blog candy! Have a creative day!

a cup of tea
How about a sweet cup of tea sent to a friend? This image from "Friends are Kisses" was one of my first attempts at coloring with copics. Obviously some work on shading needed to be done but the image does look a little better in person than in this pic. :) This was a quick notecard - left blank to be used for whichever occasion came up first. :)
I think I'll do a variation on this but add some crystal lacquer to the roses. What do you think?
Have a wonderfully creative day!
