I just love all the different shapes you can make with the coluzzle. You can do circles and squares and ovals and rectangles and so much more. The coluzzle takes up so little space to store and with the range of lines to cut, you can almost always find a size that fits the image you have. Here are two friendship cards that show two different templates: circle and oval. The first is fun because a scalloped punch is layered on the card base and then the circle is cut with the
coluzzle and an image is stamped in the "window". The nice thing is that if this were a scrapbook page, you could put the "window" anywhere on the page because you're not limited to the reach of a punch.

You may now be asking yourself - hasn't she written before that she's a punch-a-holic? Yep, it's true! I am! And, yes, I have circles and oval punches because they're handy to have too! But, sometimes it's just so wonderful to not carry all the punches and such to crops and classes as the coluzzle templates are soooo light and easy to pack because the templates are flat. What is a coluzzle? Well, it's a cutting system using a
nested template,
a coluzzle cutting mat and
a coluzzle swivel knife . Here's what the small circle template looks like. The largest circle you can cut with this is approximately 4.5 inches.

There is a
larger nested circle coluzzle that cuts circles up to 8.5 inches. The awesome thing is that if you cut a circle from each one, you can make an 1/8" border. Or, if you cut two corresponding circles from the same template, you get a quarter of an inch border as with the oval friendship card below.
So, if you have a cutting system you prefer, you're set. But, if you're looking for something that will give you a lot of options without taking a lot of room, the coluzzle might just be the way to go.
Happy Stamping!
